Danny “Big D” Montgomery has been competitively cooking BBQ for more than 30 years. He has won on some of the biggest stages, from Memphis in May to the Jack Daniels Invitational. He has traveled the world teaching other international BBQ competition teams and has trained some of the greatest chefs at their luxury resorts.
With all the trophies won, and friends made, his favorite thing is to pass his favorite tips and tricks down to his kids and grandkids. His daughter, son-in-law, and grandson have now joined his competitive cooking team. A family full of competitive cooks makes for a tasty cookout!
