A Day of Celebration and Support
On October 20th, 2024, friends, families, and supporters of the Gene Potts Memorial (GPM) gathered at Top Golf in Webster, TX to celebrate two significant milestones—Geno’s birthday and Gene Potts Memorial’s second anniversary. It was an incredible day filled with laughter, friendly competition, and the warm spirit of giving, as we all came together for one cause: supporting adult chemotherapy and radiation patients, as well as their caregivers.
Swinging for a Cause
The fundraiser brought together individuals from all walks of life, united by a common goal: to make a difference in the lives of those facing the challenges of cancer treatment. The event was an absolute blast, with participants enjoying rounds of golf, delicious food, and an auction with some amazing items up for grabs.
Not only did everyone get a chance to show off their swing, but they also experienced the heartwarming sense of community that defines GPM. With every swing and every bid, we knew we were contributing to something truly special—supporting those in need during one of the toughest times of their lives.

The Impact of Your Generosity
We are thrilled to announce that the funds raised from the Top Golf Fundraiser will be directly used to support our grant program for adult chemo and radiation patients, each receiving a $1,000 grant to assist with treatment-related expenses and bring a little more comfort during challenging times.
The love and support shown at the fundraiser reflect the true spirit of GPM. Geno’s legacy lives on in each smile, each hug, and each contribution made. It’s this spirit that allows us to keep making a difference, one family at a time.
