The 3rd Annual Steak Cookoff in Crosby, TX was a sizzling success. Held in memory of Gene Potts, a beloved member of the community, the cookoff brought together steak aficionados for a day of delicious food and friendly competition.
The event was held at the Crosby Fairgrounds and featured over 30 teams. Each team had to prepare their own steak, using their own recipe and cooking technique, in hopes of impressing the judges and taking home the top prize.
The event also included a silent auction and a raffle. All proceeds from the event went towards the Gene Potts Memorial, which provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their caregivers.
The competition was fierce, but in the end, the winners were crowned and celebrated for their hard work and dedication. But more than just the competition, the event was a time for the community to come together and honor the memory of Gene Potts.
